Great Outdoor Walking Stroller

I chose this stroller because I wanted an outdoor stroller I could use for walking and exercising. The wheels are like bike tires, meant for all terrains. And the front wheel swivels, making this stroller perfect for walking outdoors. It can also be easily switched to a fixed tire, allowing for a smoother ride on bumpy paths or sidewalks. A note about swivel versus fixed tires: Swivel is great for walking. The stroller glides along well and turns easily. Fixed, on the other hand, is what you need for jogging. A fixed wheel prevents the stroller from wobbling or turning. It keeps the stroller gliding straight and steady. However, this feature can be frustrating to a walker (in my opinion) because it is harder to turn with a jogging stroller. So because I am a walker and wanted this stroller for walking and fitness activities, NOT jogging, I chose a swivel wheel. And though this stroller does convert to have a fixed wheel, it is still not a jogging stroller. The fixed wheel, in this case, is meant to allow the stroller to be used on more rugged terrains without struggling.I have friends that use their everyday stroller when they go for walks in their neighborhoods. But truthfully, this didn't sound like the best plan for me. I wanted a stroller that I could use just for walks and outdoor activities - that I didn't have to constantly switch back and forth from the car to the garage. A stroller that could stay put in the garage. I also wanted a stroller whose tires wouldn't get worn out just from going walking. This meant I needed a rubber tire, rather than a plastic wheel.This stroller is easy to push. And glides well on our sidewalks. And please note that my neighborhood was developed in the lates '50s, so while the sidewalks have seen some improvement, they are by no means new. Still, the stroller did well!PROS: * The front wheel can switch between swivel and fixed. I love this feature. And the fact that it switches between the two so easily is huge as well. * The brakes are easy to adjust without me hurting my feet in the process. No kicking involved! * Lots of storage! This stroller has a huge basket, which is not hindered at all by the seat! (This is something other strollers struggle with.) There's also a smaller basket underneath the child's feet. The cargo pocket on the side allows enclosed storage. And up top, between the parent cup holders, there is a small tray where I can fit my iPhone and keys. * Great recline! * 5-point safety harness. * The sides of the stroller are mesh, making it breathable for my little one. * The canopy has a window that I can see in to check on my baby. * This stroller comes with 2 parent cup holders! I get so annoyed when I have to buy a separate cup holder for an already expensive stroller. Plus the fact that this one has two is wonderful. Both my husband and I can go walking with the stroller and have spots for our drinks. When my husband isn't with me, I turn the second cup holder into an extra storage tray. * This stroller also comes with a child's snack tray! Again, the extra accessories without the extra price tag is huge! The cute steering wheel (with a horn!) that can be snapped onto the tray is an added bonus. * Our car seat fits easily with the stroller, making it a functional travel system. Several brands fit this stroller, such as Chicco and Britax. It fits 10 different car seats! Ours is not listed because Britax no longer makes it - the Britax Companion - but I think it fits, for my purposes anyway, as well. For this reason, and the fact that it's great for all-terrain, we will most likely bring this stroller with us to Colorado at the end of the summer. * This stroller folds up easily. I did it quickly and almost one-handed! * Great price! The Jeep Liberty Sport X retails for $159.99, making it affordable!CONS: * The canopy doesn't provide enough coverage in my opinion. I wish it at least tilted, so I could shade my baby a little more from the sun. I'm guessing that once my little one is a toddler, this won't be an issue. * This stroller, like other travel systems, is a bit bulky. And heavy. Still, I wanted a stroller strictly to be used outdoors, that can be left set up in our garage. This works perfectly for our purposes. And I do love that our car seat can fit into it, making it perfect for our outdoorsy trip to Colorado. So though it's big, I think it's necessarily so. * Lastly, I do wish there were more vibrant color choices - perhaps a baby blue or lime green.More info and photos here: [...]

Great for storing in garage and out of house walks...

I don't use this from the car - it's wayyy to big and not easy to break down for car to store use.However, I find this great for garage to outside perfectly!Good:1. LOTS of storage - great for farmer's market/market runs!2. Runs smoothly- handles very well and very sturdy3. Drink holders for adults by handles4. ipod speaker hook up5. Great value and quality for price - especially compared to the more expensive and wayy less storage of the trendy BOB stroller.Bad:1. Sun visor is permanently fixed to the back - so if the sun is lower in the sky - baby/child will get sun right in their eyes - no way to pull visor lower.2. A bit too wide/big for general shopping3. Way too big for back of car or trunk4. Difficult to break down.

I purchased this product on Monday as we are selling our travel system and I wanted a stroller that I could lay back when we were out and about if my son gets tired and it has plenty of storage under it. My son is 15 months and 25 lbs. We went for our first walk yesterday and he loved it. He fits comfortably. It was a smooth ride. I do like how you can switch the switch on the front tire to make it swivel or not swivel(for jogging). I read some reviews about it not fitting in people's trunks. I have an '04 Pontiac Grand Am. It took a little effort, but I did manage to get it in and out in about 5 minutes. Some people complained about the color. I admit I wanted a green one from Walmart but I found this one at a better deal at Sears. So I took it. Plus color doesn't really matter as long as it gets the job done. Mine did not come with the IBABY sound system, but it does have a big compartment I can put my ipod speakers in and 2 cup holders for me/husband. On my sons tray it has two cup holders, two snack holders, and the spot in the middle for the wheel. Another thing is when he drops his drink it goes into the front basket, which has a divider to the other basket so it doesn't get mixed into other things I might have in the stroller. I love this stroller and am very happy with it.
